Not every portrait fits a single format. Maybe it's the two of you on a mountaintop at sunset. A solo session somewhere in the river bottom that means something to you. A family portrait on the prairie outside the city you've called home for thirty years.

These sessions are built one at a time. Location, timing, style, and scale all come out of a conversation before any planning begins.

How it works

1. A 30-minute consultation. We talk through what you're envisioning — the people, the place, the feeling, and what you want to live with on your wall. No pressure, no quotes until we both know what we're talking about.

2. Proposal and planning. I put together a plan covering location, timing around the light, session length, and final artwork. Once you approve, a 50% deposit books the date.

3. The session. Anywhere from 2 hours to 2 days on location, scouted in advance so the light is where it needs to be when you arrive.

4. Your gallery and artwork. Edited gallery delivered within 2 weeks. Your included wall prints are produced by a professional print lab and delivered to you.

Good to know

• Location: Anywhere in southern Alberta within driving distance. Further destinations possible with additional travel costs.

• Timing: Most sessions happen at sunrise or sunset. Some happen in weather most people would avoid — that's often where the best light lives.

• Pricing: Custom sessions start at $1,500 CAD. The final price depends on session length, location, travel, and the artwork package you choose. You'll get a clear quote before any deposit is paid.

• Timeline: Most custom sessions are booked 4–8 weeks out to give scouting and planning the space they need.
